“Barton Springs” by Elaine Gleason

Barton Springs on a summer afternoon — the most-used limestone ledge in Austin. Striped towels on the grass, children in the water up to their knees, the turquoise pool going clear all the way to the bottom. The trees above it are as green as trees are only allowed to be in a Texas summer. This painting makes you feel the temperature change when you finally hit that water.
