Five half-domed globes on a slender brass armature, set in a circular array. The Benedict's patinated caps throw light downward through frosted glass, giving a room a warm, low glow without glare. The sculptural silhouette holds its own against bold pattern and color, as it does here above a hand-papered ceiling and a Texas landscape painting.
Designed and fabricated in the studio by Trella co-founders Timothy Mellema and Daniel Termini, whose work draws on backgrounds in architecture, sculpture, jewelry, and furniture making. Every piece is made to order in the United States.
